“In every job that must be done,
there is an element of fun.
You find the fun and ‘snap’,

the job’s a game.”

I watched Mary Poppins on the Disney Channel last week. She's right. Find the fun and turn the job into a game.

Here is an example of how one mom turned the job of preparing packed lunches into a game/hobby.

Check out Kitchen Cow! She makes the cutest Bento Boxes. See how she turns regular pinoy food (ex. tapa and adobo) into a work of art. I'm going to try her Tonkatsu recipe this week.

I read her blog too! I came across kitchen cow when I was looking for tips as to where to look for nice bento boxes and I've been reading that blog ever since. Her creations are simply beyond my capabilities =)

The blog of Sundae (the Japanese lady who makes cute bentos for her sons) is in Japanese characters. You can use Babel Fish to translate the text. Its a challenge (and quite hilarious) to make sense of the translation though.

@anonymous - Sundae's bentos are really cute.

Here is how to view it:
1. Go to http://babelfish.yahoo.com/
2. Type in http://cuteobento.blog43.fc2.com/ in the Translate a web page box.
3. Choose Japanese to English
4. Tada! Read Cute Obento in English
