Grocery Shopping: The List

Wednesday, September 3, 2008

With the rickety carts provided by ***mart, it is very hard to maneuver around the grocery while holding a list and a pen.

Post-its to the rescue!

My two hands are now free, and I can easily identify my cart -- no more pushing some other woman's cart away.

I also discovered yesterday that the medium carts have better wheels. I used to always choose the biggest ones and those are squeaky and unwieldy.

@padlockposer - one more peeve about ***mart is that they charge you P10 to use the restroom but it's still the same old cr, not the lounge type! grrr...

hi mrs. g...are you talking about the grocery in greenhills? siiigh...i know what you mean! Those carts are older than the hills! If this grocery wasn't near my house, and so well-stocked I'd go somewhere else!

@chiara - They're cheaper pa than most groceries. Sigh... But I love Tenderbites. People there are super friendly. They give me cooking tips :)

@batibut - I'll post my inventory system soon. There are so many factors to consider: frequency of your grocery trips, the kinds of food you eat, the size of your pantry and refrigerator, your cooking method, your budget...
