Recipe: Orange Iced Tea

Thursday, September 18, 2008

What you need:

Powdered Iced Tea (My husband doesn't like Nestea, and Lipton is expensive, so I now use Earth and Sky. Use whatever brand you want.)

Sunquick Orange (It must be Sunquick. This is the secret ingredient.)

Water and Ice

Plastic Shaker (I got mine free. I bought Nestea just to get the free shaker. My friend got hers from Tang just recently.)

Just mix everything together. Add more or less to taste. The Sunquick will do wonders to your iced tea. I promise!

we called this bat juice when we were younger... we added eight o'clock or tang though :)

@padlockposer and mrs. p -- My sister used to do that too! She adds Tang and calamansi.

But Sunquick is quicker. LOL!

I got this recipe from a restaurant in Greenbelt. It's bottomless so they use powdered iced tea lang. If you want a more sophisticated iced tea recipe, try googling "iced tea" and "sunquick".
