A month after terminating their services, Bayantel is still giving me headaches.
I just received another bill from them. When I called customer service, a kind lady told me that their Cubao bayanCENTER has not forwarded any information as to my request for disconnection. This is after I sent the center a letter and called customer service on the same day to inform them of my decision to terminate their services. Good thing that I have a received copy of my letter.
They now want me to go back to their Cubao bayanCENTER to confirm my termination request. WHY THE HELL WILL I DO THAT? I already did what I had to do. I've broken up with Bayantel. Why will I go meet him again to remind him that it's over. IT'S OVER BAYANTEL! You've ripped me off long enough.
Misery loves company. I am not alone. Darrel James writes, "I am not the only one that BayanTel has ripped off with this. A lot of people have been complaining and returning their units and giving up their subscriptions. The ratio could be 9 out of 10 users are not satisfied. They are making money with their P500 processing fee instead of their actual monthly service fee." (Read full article here)
I wonder how Bayantel can still be in business. We victims should do something about this.

Hi,
Nice post!
Business Plan Presentation
CURSE YOU SPAMMERS! Next time I'll spam their site. They sell bathroom tiles. Grrrrr...
Oh God, I share your pain. Bayantel is the pain in my ass. Just the other day, our connection was fluctuating every half hour, at an hour when we needed it the most since my hubby works from home.
The only thing I can give BayanTel kudos for is their service; they can be at your place in a jiffy. But methinks this might just be their way of patching up the crappy service for their phone lines.
Hmm. When we move house, it's back to PLDT. You can count on that.
OMG! i just realized that i'm not alone on my predicaments w/ bayantel. the zte wireless phone is a royal pain in the neck. bayantel is quite fast in sending their bill but we hardly use the damn phone because it always says network is busy or sometimes we won't be able to make an outgoing call because apparently pldt lines are down (this is their favorite alibi). according to the customer service of bayantel, if we can't call a pldt number it's because the lines of pldt are down. haller! does pldt experiences line problems every other day? c'mon! that's unbelievable! and the phone battery drops to zero everyday even if we don't use it! bayantel wireless really sucks! if you know someone who's planning to get this kind of phone, please warn them.
I can relate..Me too had a bad experience of BAYANTEL.
Very long story to tell..GOSH!
yung customer service ng bayantel mga bastos at tatanga.. nag customer service pa sila... if you call sa other network busy... kaloka... yung internet putol putol...pagdating ng bill ang bilis... yung quality of service sobrang panget.. kaasar.. bweset
Parang break-up lang. Gusto pa ng another formal closure.
@Batibut: Tama nga naka-move on na.
